Would the Mayfair Witches series be good for a 12 year old to read?

NYOC – Bluefrog asked:


I have been reading the Vampire Chronicles and discussing them, somewhat, with my 12 year old daughter. I told her that Anne Rice has a series of witches and she would like to know whether they are “good” or “bad”. Ant opinions are welcome.

Wystarczy pami?ta?, ?e jeszcze gorzej jak je pó?niej w serii. Je?li chcesz na przyk?ad przej?? do ksi??ek dla peek wewn?trz, ale prosz? pami?ta?, ?e ca?a zawarto?? wydana przez wydawnictwo ma by? PG oceniono na najgorsze.

    De eerste twee boeken in de serie zijn 100% volwassen. Er is incest, homoseksuele relaties, waanzin, geweld, verkrachting, enz. Naast de gebruikelijke paranormale elementen die u kunt verwachten van een Anne Rice boek. Ik heb genoten van deze boeken, maar ik zou ze niet voor het lezen aan iemand jonger dan 14. De "heksen" in deze serie zijn niet het soort heksen die een 12-jarige zou verwachten.
